Trade Apprenticeship Program Details:
Trades & Qualification of Trade Apprentices:
- Chemical Plant Operator: Minimum qualification includes Matric in Science group with a minimum C-grade. Candidates must have completed a 3-year DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Chemical or F.Sc (Pre-Engg) with a minimum C-grade. Alternatively, B-Tech in Chemical is accepted.
- Mechanical Technicians (Shop Machinist, Millwrights, Pipe Fitters, and Welders): Candidates must have Matric in Science group with a minimum C-grade. Additionally, a 3-year DAE in Mechanical Trade or B-Tech in Mechanical from a recognized institute is required.
- Draftsman (Mechanical): Minimum qualification includes Matric in Science group with a minimum C-grade. Candidates should have a 3-year DAE in Draftsman (Mechanical) or Mechanical Trade. Alternatively, B-Tech in the relevant trade is accepted.
- Draftsman (Civil): Matric in Science group with a minimum C-grade is required. Candidates must possess a 3-year DAE in Draftsman (Civil) Trade or B-Tech in the relevant trade.
- Auto Technician: Matric in Science group with a minimum C-grade is required. Candidates should have completed a 3-year DAE in Auto Technician Auto Mobile & Diesel Mechanical Trade. Alternatively, B-Tech in the relevant trade is accepted.
- Instrument Technicians: Candidates should have completed a DAE in Instruments/Electronics or B-Tech in Electronics/Instruments trade from a recognized institute.
- Laboratory Technicians: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or a relevant trade from a recognized institute.
- Inspection Technicians: Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Math Physics or Matric in Science group with a minimum C-grade and a 3-year DAE in Mechanical Trade. Alternatively, a B-Tech in Mechanical is accepted.
- Computer Operator: Minimum qualification includes Matric in Science group with a minimum C-grade. Candidates should have completed F.Sc/Intermediate (Pre-Medical and Pre-Engg) with a minimum C-grade, or a 3-year DAE in Computer Information Technology (CIT) or Secretarial trade. Alternatively, Matric in Science group with a minimum C-grade and F.Sc (Pre-Medical and Pre-Engg) with a minimum C-grade, along with a B.Sc degree in Chemistry or Maths/Physics, is accepted. B-Tech in the relevant trade is also an alternative.

Candidates with post-masters and engineering degrees are not eligible to apply. The deadline for submitting applications is 19-July-2023.
