i. These positions are contractual and do not provide any claim for extension, regularization, or permanency. They are based on the specific needs of the Ministry, and there are no sanctioned or permanent positions available.
ii. Age and experience requirements will be considered as of the closing date.
iii. The initial contract period will be two years, with the possibility of extension based on the requirements, budget availability, and satisfactory performance.
iv. All interested candidates must fill out and submit the Application Form on the National Job Portal’s website (www.nip.gov.pk) within fifteen (15) days from the publication of the advertisement. No other modes of application will be accepted.
v. Before applying, it is advised that interested candidates review the Job Description provided on the Ministry’s website (https://petroleum.gov.pk) to ensure their qualifications and experience align with the position requirements.
vi. Government servants and employees of corporate/autonomous semi-autonomous bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer if shortlisted for an interview.
vii. Shortlisted candidates must bring their original degrees, documents, testimonials, and experience certificates to the interview.
viii. The selected candidate must join within forty (40) days of receiving the offer letter. Failure to do so will result in the position being offered to the next candidate.
ix. Successful candidates are required to provide HEC-verified degrees/qualifications or HEC equivalence certificates (if applicable) before joining, within forty (40) days of receiving the offer letter. Failure to do so will result in the position being offered to the next candidate.
x. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, and no travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided.
xi. The Petroleum Division reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without providing any reason(s).
